Unnamed (Fe Oxysulphide)

This page is currently not sponsored. Click here to sponsor this page.
Crystal System:
The authors suggest the phase to be an oxysulphide. Possibly a mixed-valence compound? Other oxysulphides from the work of Rajchel (2008) are suggested to contain both S22- and SO42- anions.

From Upper Silesia, Poland. Compare viaeneite, UM1995-34-SO:Fe, Unnamed (Fe Subsulphite), Unnamed (Fe Sulphite), Unnamed (Fe Pyrosulphite), Unnamed (Fe Sulphoxylane), Unnamed (Fe Thiosulphate II).
