Named in honour of Dr. Natalia V. Zubkova (born in 1976), crystallographer at the Faculty of Geology, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, for her many diverse contributions to the crystal chemistry of oxysalt minerals.
New structure type. The only currently (status: 2024) known anhydrous Ca-Cu arsenate mineral.
