A synonym of Hiortdahlite
A synonym of hiortdahlite.

Hiortdahlite was described by Brøgger (1888, 1890) from a nepheline-syenite pegmatite at Langodden, Arøyskjærene, Langesundsfjorden.
Merlino & Perchiazzi (1985) determined the crystal structure of hiortdahlite from the Langesundsfjorden area, and designated it as hiortdahlite I, since the structure was slightly different from hiortdahlite from Kipawa River, Canada. The later was designated as Hiortdahlite II.

Single crystal XRD studies on hiortdahlites from 6 different localities in the Langesundsfjorden district showed that they all are Hiortdahlite I (Larsen et al. 2010).

See also hiortdahlite II.
