Scott Ercit in honor of Alexander Petrovich Khomyakov [April 2, 1933 Moscow, Russia - October 12, 2012 Russia], of the Institute of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Crystal Chemistry of Rare Elements, Moscow, Russia, for his extensive contributions to the mineralogy and geochemistry of alkaline rocks. He name 101 mineral species and was senior author for 80 of those descriptions.
