The enthusiasm and the collaboration of numerous benefactors has proved crucial in the development of our museum, by enriching the collections of minerals, rocks and fossils specimens. The UTAD Geology Museum has as its primary objective, to create a living space where UTAD students and visitors, particularly students and teachers of all the schools in the area, find answers to the many issues related to the earth sciences and the incentive to performing works, investigation projects and "research" in the various fields of geology. Another set of objectives of UTAD Geology Museum is to promote the dissemination of science and geological resources, as well as the technical and cultural development of our university, stimulating and enabling interaction with other partners in various scientific and technical fields and education.
