Friday Program: Micromount session 3 to 5 PM, Tailgating session 5 to 10 PM

Saturday, April 6 - Symposium Program:
Light Breakfast 8 AM, talks from 9 AM to 4 PM with lunch and coffee breaks, followed by a Dinner at 6 PM with a speaker and auction of donated items. Program will include:

9:15 to 9:30am An Update on UofA’s Two Mineral Museums – Les Presmyk

9:30 to 10:10am Stan Keith – “Mineralogy of a Giant Graphene Deposit in West-Central AZ”

10:10 to 10:40am Break and Mineral Sales

10:40 to 11:20am Barbara Muntyan – “Arizona Prehnite”

11:20 to 12:00pm Mark Hay – “Minerals of the San Manuel Mine, Pinal County, Arizona”

12:00 to 1:00pm Lunch

1:00 to 1:40pm Anna Domitrovic – “Minerals with Stories to Tell”

1:40 to 2:20pm Dick Zimmerman – “Collecting Radioactive Minerals”

2:20 to 2:40pm Break

Sunday Program: 9 AM to 11 AM, Portable XRF for analyzing gold and other minerals for their chemistry, trading or selling by individuals.

Dealers: Friday evening 5 PM to 10 PM there will be a mineral sale with dealers selling from 2nd floor rooms & a meeting room (8) 6’ dealer tables. Dealers may also sell on Saturday and Sunday during free time.

• The registration fee ($45) includes: Saturday light breakfast, coffee breaks, Saturday lunch, and Symposium Proceedings.
• The Dinner (Mexican Buffet) on Saturday night is an additional $20.

Location: Drury Inn - Chandler
1205 S. Price Road (Junction of 101 and 202 in Chandler).
