A Mixture Of:
Possibly largely synonymous with protodolomite, but variable in use.
The originally reported "gurhofian" from Gurhof, Aggsbach Dorf, Dunkelstein forest, Lower Austria, Austria, was subsequently recognised to be a microcrystalline form of dolomite, initially believed as to consist of a gel.
Other "gurhofian" samples were found to be either dolomite, calcite or magnesite (Wieden, 1954).
