Named for the historical name of the locality: Qaqortoq, Kujalleq, Greenland.
A local name for a variety of agpaitic nepheline syenite displaying pronounced cumulate textures and igneous layering with a repetition of layers enriched in alkali feldspar, eudialyte and arfvedsonite.
