Fumaroles with salammoniac-sulfur crust and grifons

Kukhi-Malik area, Yagnob River, Zeravshan Range, Viloyati Sogd, Tajikistan

The slope at Kukhi-Malik tract above coal layer with active fumarols forming salammoniac crusts and grifons. Salammoniac covered with yellow sulfur needle crystals. To understand scale: gryphons (holes) in salammoniac crust are 20-40 cm.
