Largest Crystal Size: 1 mm

Kinky crystals of galenobismutite partially etched out of calcite.

ID confirmed by single crystal XRD by Travis Olds.

This is the second reported occurrence of galenobismutinite in Michigan, after a single specimen from the nearby Superior gold prospect.

A mirror-like specimen of Micaceous Hematite from a road cut at the old Hartford Mine. The area is being reclaimed and will soon be the site of an assisted living community, so this may be one of the last specimens collected there.
