This is the largest of the Japan Law Twins to come from this new find in Zambia.
It stands 200mm tall and is 190mm wide and the matrix is 100mm deep, the crystal itself is 28mm thick. The colour is quite intense. The right hand crystal is damaged due to contact and poor collecting as is the tip of the top edge of the left hand crystal.
It is still a very impressive display peice.

This Japan Law Twin is complete, however the left hand crystal blends into the matrix as well as mass of intercepting crystals. The right hand side of this specimen is all contact zone.
The specimen is 140 x 140mm the "JLT" crystals are 25mm thick. The next photo is of the other side.

A large Japan Law Twin on matrix from Zambia. The right hand crystal is missing due to the interference growth of other crystals. The main crystal is 150 x 60 x 28mm. The other photo shows the matrix quite well

Dimensions: 75 mm x 60 mm x 25 mm

A Japan Law Twin on matrix complete with intercepting crystals. The right hand crystal has grown into the matrix and has come away from it when collected. The contact is complete for the whole specimen.
The main crystal is very gemmy and of great colour.
It measures 75 x 60 x 25mm.

A sharp and gemmy Japan Law Twin on matrix from this new find. The left hand crystal is missing due to contact and penetrating crystals.
The main crystal is 70 x 30 x 16mm, this crystal is predominantly facet grade.

A nice double terminated crystal complete with a penetrating double terminated crystal. The large crystal is 55 x 20mm and the small crystal is 60 x 8mm.

A classic heart shaped Japan Law twin. there is some minor damage to the tip of the right hand crystal as well as a few other nics but this specimen is of great colour as well as being doubly terminated.

A Citrine Japan law Twin. This is another one from the new find in Zambia. The right hand crystal is due to interference growth of other crystals and poor collecting techniques. Still a nice example.
