I have collected minerals since I was fifteen. Ten years later, I started collecting micro-minerals.

It was the very beginning of micromineralogy in France and the birth of our association, the French Micromineralogy Association (AFM).

Not far from my home, there was an old uranium mining district, called 'Division de Vendée' of COGEMA, now AREVA.
Among several ones, I use to visit tree mines.

Main interests : phosphate and uranium minerals.
