I am very new to mineral collecting - up until 2008, flora and fauna were my main interests.

My husband Reiner and I are collectors. We are fortunate to live very close to the Dundas and Flamboro quarries. As well, we make seasonal trips to the Bancroft area, and more irregularly to Cobalt and further to the Mamainse copper area on Lake Superior.

To support the hobby we sell our material online or at mineral shows in Paris and London, Ontario.

I am a novice photographer, too. My current project involves cataloging our thumbnail collection. It's a great learning experience - not only minerals: the whats and the wheres, but also the joys and heartbreak of digital cameras!

Feel free to drop either of us a line if you have any questions about Ontario minerals!
