Colorado Rocks!
Dean Allum has been collecting rocks since about 1998, as a safer hobby replacement for mountain climbing. He got hooked on REE minerals after finding some of the worlds largest specimens of these ugly beasts within the Pikes Peak pluton. So far, he has only been able to collect in the western states. He is employed as an Electrical Engineer designing radiation hardened electronics for space applications.
