Started collecting Australian minerals and fossils in about 1970. Moved into collecting international specimens in 1974. Have been a Australian national mineral and fossil judge since 1975. Most of collection made up of Australian, Mexican, Chinese, and Pakistan specimens and specialise in minerals in crystal form. Very fond of Aquamarines, Scheelite, Fluorite, Tourmalines, Garnet, and copper minerals including native copper. Portion of collection was the prime feature at Bundaberg Gemboree, 2012
