Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping in to read my page. It's about time that I updated it. Since I have been a member of Mindat, my mineralogical interests have evolved and my knowledge greatly increased. I am primarily a collector of New Jersey minerals. I started out being interested in collecting Franklin and Sterling Hill fluorescents. I am still passionately collecting these minerals. I have, however, expanded my interests to include the "traprock minerals" from Upper and Lower New Street Quarries in Paterson. I also collect traprock/zeolite minerals from other quarries and localities in NJ such as Prospect Park, Millington and Fort Lee, to name a few. I also have several "sub-collections" of micromount specimens, uranium/REE minerals, New Mexico (thanks Don!), some New England localities and recently a sub-collection from the Rhein Property in Amity, NY(thanks Glenn!).
A few years ago, I started trading with a few people that I met here on Mindat. Thanks to all my friends all over the country who traded with me. I accumulated so many specimens that I decided to become a dealer and I have been doing the local shows for the past 3 years. I have not lost focus on mineral collecting and I am still actively collecting at Sterling Hill and some other NJ quarries. I am a member of the Franklin/Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society and the North Jersey Mineralogical Society.
