I live north of Newcastle in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. I work in aviation, but mineral collecting is my hobby and will hopefully help me fill my days when I retire. I am a member of the Mineralogical Society of NSW.

I enjoy field collecting, although the opportunities are decreasing as locations become depleted or difficult to access. I collect all size specimens from any location, but I'm particularly interested in Australian minerals, Quartz (including agate) and zeolites.

I have mainly posted Australian minerals, many of them self collected.
