I live north of Newcastle in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. I am now retired and I am a member of the Mineralogical Society of NSW.

I enjoy field collecting, although the opportunities are decreasing as locations become depleted or difficult to access. In the past I have collected all size specimens from any location, but I am now specializing more in Australian minerals, in particular Quartz (including agate) and zeolites.

I have mainly posted Australian minerals, many of them self collected.
