i am amateur collector from slovakia.
this is the hitparade of my targets:
1- quartz(with varieties) from "stiavnica mountains",slovakia
2- minerals from "stiavnica mountains",slovakia. mainly those aesthetical
3- aesthetical minerals from slovakia
4- aesthetical minerals from whole world,mainly quartz
i love quartz,especially amethyst.
i collect eye-visible pieces and the best for me is "cabinet" size and "small cabinet" size.
i visit mainly stiavnica mountains` localities with pretty pieces.then i visit slovak localities
with pretty pieces.from my favourite localities i also have pieces which are not so pretty,but
i want to show variousness.
the heaven on earth is the big amethyst cavity somewhere in banska stiavnica,filled with clear,
pretty coloured sceptered crystals on matrix... :-)
