Corporate Sponsorship

If your company or organization is interested in supporting mindat.org there are several ways to do this.

Firstly, mindat.org is part of the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, and if you are a US organization your sponsorship and donations should be tax-deductible.

Your support goes directly towards funding our educational outreach and scientific research via this website. If there is a particular project or part of this site you would like to see us invest more time and effort on then we are certainly happy to discuss donations specifically towards a particular project.

Corporate donors get (depending on level of support:)

  • Recognition on the home page of their support.
  • The ability to promote their corporate social responsibility message on the home page and on their mine/project pages.
  • Access to data extracts from the site and joint research possibilities.
  • Direct access to the mindat.org management team.

We are also looking for major supporters to help fund a vastly extended educational section including animation and video which could be branded under the name of the supporting company but still benefit from mindat.org's community, educational reach and impartial reputation. Clearly such a partner would have to be a good match for mindat.org, but we are open to discussion with anyone on this.

Please contact jolyon@mindat.org for a no-obligation and confidential discussion of possibilities.

If your business has a matching charitable donations program, The Hudson Institute of Mineralogy dba Mindat.org is an approved recipient through Benevity.com for corporate giving, grants and matching programs. Benevity.com handles charitable support for many of the top 1000 corporations in the world. Making a charitable donation through your corporate giving program can increase your gift to keep Mindat.org running at no additional cost to you!
