“7.8 x 4.7 x 3.4 cm. An excellent example of the calcites from this one-time find of a couple of years ago - not only beautiful, but an important new find of calcite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. This is a fine two-sided specimen. The crystals really stick up off the matrix in bold relief, in a series of interconnected bursts of crystals framed by the contrasting iron-rich matrix.
