Rutile, in the variety known as 'sagenite', in white quartz. Some chlorite group mineral is present on the rear face of the specimen. The rutile shows reticulated structure and as free standing needles in the vug that lies to the lower centre of this view.

Excellent coverage of small white albite crystals to 3mm with clear terminations. There are also a few tiny, very thin acicular micro rutile crystals.
