This specimen is comprised of intergrown, scalenohedral, mushroom-like rosettes of lustrous, gemmy, reddish-orange, rhodochrosite, to 2.5 cm across. There is also an occasional free standing crystal to .7 cm in length. This is one of the more unusual habits for N’Chwaning rhodochrosites. It would have come out in the early 1980s.
