Lazulite
Rapid Creek, Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada
3.9 x 3.0 x 1.9 cm. I particularly like this matrix piece because the lazulite crystals are shaped 3-dimensionally as if this were a hand, closing, and so they are superbly presented. The crystals, to 1.2 cm across, are gemmy, lustrous, and have that unusual bi-coloration of royal blue and emerald green.
