Pentlandite, Pyrrhotite

Locality: Phikwe Mine, Selebi-Phikwe belt (Selbi-Pikwe), Francistown District, North-East District, Botswana

A massive vein of pentlandite with pyrrhotite in a mafic rock. Along the contact with the host rock tiny specks of chalcopyrite can be seen. 16 x 10 x 4 cm, photo & collection: Wolfgang Hampel.
