Locality: Vein No. 1 of Labuntsov, 3rd left tributary of Vuonnemijok river, Eveslogchorr Mt, Khibiny Massif, Kola peninsula, Murmanskaja oblast', Northern Region, Russia
Typical appearance of fersmanite from central part of the Labuntsov #1 pegmatite - type locality for the species. Specimen size is 7x8x5 cm, crystal size is 2x1.7x1 cm. Self-collected in August 1987. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
