Locality: Skardu Road, Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan

Lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystal 4 cm long standing off rosettes of white albite crystals. the schorl crystal is flattened in cross-section, and has a shallow pyramidal termination. Very clean, no damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4 cm.
