“Tiny platy crystals grow within quartz, exhibiting a strong metallic luster. The existence of this mineral was discovered and confirmed in 2010 at the Mukaidani Mine in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture.
The original label indicates that it is associated with native bismuth, Hedleyite, and Pilsenite.
The mine is located in the Kanazawa area, which was a gold-mining field exploited by the famous daimyo Takeda Shingen during Japan's Warring States period.
