What a super specimen of Boracite from Wathlingen near Celle in Lower Saxony. Nicely twinned cubed crystals with a bevelled corner, set on typically Anhydrite bearing matrix. The major crystals measures enormous 7mm, has a olive-green colour and is almost lucent to transparent. Of course the crystals are sharp and lustrous as well. Despite, there is a small imperfection, this is in any case a stunning specimen in such a crystal size, which makes it oustanding. It is almost impossible to get hold of such items on the mineral market.
