12.4 x 8.0 x 3.1 cm. Mineral specimens of any variety are rare from this former iron mine. Splendent, sharp, metallic-gray pyrolusite microcrystals fill the sculptural vug lined with botryoidal pyrolusite on massive hematite matrix on this rare large combination piece from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The Trimingham collection was rich with such rare California material. The ID is from the previous owner.
