The label for this specimen gave the locality as "Annie Creek, Lawrence Co.", but the description for that locality lists metauranocircite as an erroneous mineral. I have been advised that the likely locality is the nearby Davier Mine. The white sprays on the dark matrix (goethite?) look like minyulite to me but I have no analysis. Former Walter Frey collection.

Stereo pair at 2% shift. The label for this specimen gave the locality as "Annie Creek, Lawrence Co.", but the description for that locality lists metauranocircite as an erroneous mineral. I have been advised that the likely locality is the nearby Davier Mine. The white sprays on the dark matrix (goethite?) look like minyulite to me but I have no analysis. Former Walter Frey collection.
