7.8 x 5.8 x 4.5 cm. A very rich specimen of exceptionally rare species from the classic deposit here. Emplaced wonderfully in a shallow vug is a thin surface of sparkling, metallic, drusy crystals (or cleavages, more likely) of coloradoite, a rare mercury telluride, whose crystals give off a slight iridescent reddish hue. Intermixed with the coloradoite are sparkling darker metallic crystal cleavages of petzite, a silver, gold telluride, whose crystals emit a visible golden-silver color. Richly crystallized, rare assemblage. Ex Larry Conklin collection and accompanied by his label. He told me it was a very, very rich specimen which he had kept for many years, although I confess I have never seen any other such 'pretty' pieces that caught my eye to compare this to in any meaningful way.
