“This is 'flat' side of the unusual, hemispherical "acorn" habit for columbite-(Fe). It is 17.1 mm in diameter, and 8.6 mm thick. Collected many years ago by Richard "Dick" Schooner, ex Bruce Jarnot, currently in the collection of Fred E. Davis. Photographed by Fred E. Davis.
