This is a Opal var. Hyalite from Mina Etienne, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. This lovely, well formed chalcedony vug is rimmed by a thick and bright layer of globular, glassy and gemmy, colorless hyalite opal.The entire specimen glows with a rich, neon emerald green when under fluoresecent light.
