Kaolinite ps. Orthoclase

A classic Cornwall pseudomorph: kaolinite and fine-grained muscovite ("sericite") have replaced Carlsbad law twinned orthoclase in what has locally been nicknamed a "pig's egg." The specimen shows surface pitting (which is typical of this replacement). There is minor associated muscovite.
