As recorded:
Ray Mine, Ray District, near Kearney, Dripping Springs Mts., Pinal County, Arizona, USA
63mm x 33mm x 20mm
This exceptional specimen consists of radiating sprays of flattened cystals of light-green Malachite pseudomorphing an unknown mineral, but probably Azurite. Collected in about 1978, this specimen is from the Andy Clark (geologist at Ray Mine) collection. Ray Mine is known for Chrysocolla pseudomorphs, but Malachite pseudos were very uncommon. No damage.
