Uvite on Epidote

This rare specimen is part of a well-crystallized vein of lustrous, bright-green Epidote which forms elongated crystals to 17 mm growing on dense greenish matrix. The Epidote is capped by translucent to opaque white Uvite with pearly luster. The Uvite is partly crystallized, and seems to have matrix interference. These specimens are never seen on the market, and is a rare and nice example collected by Torgeir Garmo.
