“When one thinks of Pyromorphite and Idaho, the first thing that comes to mind are the spectacular specimens that were recovered from the Kellogg Mine. This well-formed specimen of Pyromorphite is from a very obscure location. Purportedly this mine ceased production prior to 1905. While I am unsure as to whether or not this specimen was found during the time the mine was operating or was collected after the mine ceased production, I think it is a moot point as this is one finely crystallized Pyromorphite specimen from a practically unknown location. This specimen features many well-formed Pyromorphite crystals to 4.5 mm. in size.
