“These crystals are very difficult to image! Benitoite "triangles" from the pseudoleucite syenite at the Diamond Jo quarry, Magnet Cove, Arkansas. Most of the benitoites we have found here were originally described as fluorescent blue "barite". Only later were colorless, pink and blue crystals recognized as benitoite. Analyzed by EPMA. FOV is about 1.5 X 1.5 mm. Canon 40D with a 30mm B&L objective, bellows configuration and fluorescent ring light Stacked using Combine ZP.”
