“11.2 x 5.6 x 1.5 cm. Metavariscite is the rare dimorph of variscite and this impressive large piece is from the Type Locality. This is a rare, old-time and rich sliced unpolished end nodule slab of solid pretty mint-green metavariscite strikingly enhanced by spider webb patterns of filled-in dessication cracks. Metavariscite was named in 1927 and this is an old piece from the Paterson Museum in New Jersey, where it was on display. The specimen dates to prior to World War II. Weighs 96 grams.
