The biggest I have found is something like 60mm (now at NRM)- the specimen was just too big (30 cm). to keep. Here is a pair of crystals growing close together and in fact a third one is broken. Left of them are 5 broken xx growing together with zircone ...

Bastnäsite-(Ce)

About 6.1 mm grain of bastnasite-(Ce) in quartzeous pegmatite. The yellow earthy coating is yet unidentified (could be thorogummite or kasolite, maybe?). Specimen obtained at Tisnov show, May 2008.
