An old time specimen labelled "Tin Stone Carnelloe Mine Zennor. The specimen comprises of pure very coarse dark brown Cassiterite, a broken alluvial pebble. I suspect the specimen may have come from a local stream works or the cove directly below Carnelloe mine to the West which reportedly produced Tin Stones to the size of the of a man's head!
