Beryl
Wiperaminga Hill, Boolcoomatta Reserve, Pastoral Unincorporated Area, South Australia, Australia
This lovely Beryl crystal still remains in the wall of the main open cut and is approx 23cm across, one can only wonder as to how long it may have been and how much is still in situ?
Once mined for it's pegmatite minerals this quarry still has specimens abound, although it is no longer accessible as it is part of a nature reserve. ...
