9.3 x 5.2 x 4.3 cm. Lustrous, sharp, partially translucent, deep blood-red cuprite crystals fill a 5.5 cm vug in massive cuprite in this showy and excellent old-time specimen from a less well-known German locale. Some of the cuprites have a light brown overgrowth. The Kausersteimel Mine was discovered in the early 19th century and closed in 1931. ...
