4.5x 3.4x 1.3 cm. Numerous deep red, gem hydroxylclinohumite crystals on a chlinochlore matrix, including one rather large crystal on this specimen. The main xtl is undamaged, but there is a hardly noticeable chip on the crystal next to it.

1.9 x 0.9 x 0.9 cm. A superb, gemmy and lustrous, deep cherry-red, doubly terminated, floater crystal from Afghanistan. The sharp, glassy crystal has a bit of out of sight contacting on one side. Rare in this quality, from finds a few years ago, this is a superb thumbnail. Ex. Brent Lockhart Collection.

Nice, complete, dark red Hydroxylclinohumite crystals associated with abundant Clinochlore. In the early 2000s, these crystals could be found and purchased fairly easily without spending a lot, because they were mistaken for "particularly deformed garnets"...
