Druse of crystals of Sphalerite (var. Marmantite), grown on porphyritic rock. It comes from Joan Montal, great person and great trader of minerals, which for many years provided us very good samples from around the world, from its store located in the Catalan town of Vilafranca del Penedes. size-12x10x2
Druze of crystals of Siderite with a curious habit formed by crystals with various stages of crystallization. It is associated with Galena presented as masses exfoliated, all in a crack of the porphyry granitic typical of this site. Size-11x4x4 cm.

A weakness, I admit. A cube-octahedral complex galena, defined edges, with polysynthetic growths on (111) faces. In one of them we can observe tiny crystals of pyrite and dolomite.
