This specimen is from a nodule of kaolinite. When it was broke open it contained a center of cuprite (dark black/red) with native copper within the cuprite. The kaolinite nodule was stained blue and green. 5cm x 3.5cm. Rick Dalrymple Collection. Adrienne McElwain Photo.

A pseudocubic (tetragonal) crystal of Wulfenite on Goethite. Other mineral associated but not in the photograph is Cerussite. Pseudocubic Wulfenite from this locality is unusual, it more commonly forms as paper thin plates, or as dipyramids. I obtained this specimen from Gerry Austin, who collected it in 2014.

This hemimorphite was specimen no. 1945 in the Rock H. Currier collection. He misspelled the locality as "Tacoma Mine" (unless this is an alternate spelling). Rock H. Currier (1940-2015) was the owner of Jewel Tunnel Imports in California. The description on the back of his label says: "A sliver of compact limonite coated with micro gray/white ...

This is a micromount specimen of wulfenite from the Tecoma Mine (Old Tecoma Mine), Tecoma Hill, Box Elder County, Utah. I acquired the specimen from Robert Nowakowski at the 2024 Detroit mineral show. This specimen was in the former collection of David R. Lehecka (1952-2024): #4138. Jamison K. This large cut is just around the hill from the main adit. The lower opening is shallow but the dark hole is much deeper. It also had a crudely built stone wall in front of most of it. Taken 4-11-12 by Rick Dalrymple.
