One of the largest depressions in the woods next to the cemetery with steep sides suggests this may have been the shaft area that was apparently filled long ago by borrowing soil from around it. Other smaller pits and trenches extend both NE and SW from this depression. November 24, 2021.

An old dump at another set of workings is just in the woods at 41.516111 -72.819356. Most of the working here were apparently filled and/or graded by cemetery expansion. November 24, 2021.
