Size ~ 1½ x 3 cm; chamosite ~ 3 mm. Thanks to Rafa Muñoz Alvarado. MOB coll. This is a macro view of http://www.mindat.org/photo-485134.html There are also some small xls of muscovite but, at this scale, about all you can see are the reflections. There is a stereo child photo.

The chamosite spans ~ 3⅓ x 3 mm. Thanks to Rafa Muñoz Alvarado. MOB coll. The small hex plates bottom right are muscovite. I don’t know what the pointy but layered xls just above the chamosite are. They do not react to HCl so albite seems to be the only possibility from the species list – but it doesn’t look like the albite that ...
