Quartz, Fluorite
Ten Strike Mine, Klondyke, Aravaipa Mining District, Graham County, Arizona, USA
7.5 x 5.2 x 4.1 cm. An unusual locality fluorite: Lustrous, deep lavender colored fluorite crystals, to 7 mm across, are closely associated with lustrous and translucent, colorless quartz crystals, to 5 mm in length. The fluorescence of the fluorite is a very dark purple. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
