Old ore cart at EE Smith mine

This is an old ore cart from the Arthur Koppel Company. There's a fascinating history about this gentleman and his company just waiting for an internet search! This old compressor is near the top of Hutchins Hill above the mine. The climb is rather steep, so it must not have been fun getting this up there. Note the hand crank for starting. Photo taken 18 August 2005.
